Santas Grotto 2018

In 2018, Adam was commissioned to produce a Christmas Grotto experience for an elderly gentleman with a distinguished white beard. The entrance to his world was obviously hidden and had to be found.

A broken wardrobe opened into a long tunnel of clothes which once negotiated opened up into a bustlingly busy work shop.

Elves of all sizes, know everyone's names; they invite their visitors to help make toys, wrap presents, and play games until a bespoke key with the name of the child falls down the chimney. The key opens the fireplace to another part of the world for just one family at a time to pass through; this place is an obvious transit station.

They are greeted by our ticket master with an extraordinary dress code and a huge moustache; he opens the station door to reveal a cable car. He explains that the cable car will now travel at the speed of unicorns and will get to the North Pole in seconds.

The family climb aboard, and the car seemingly zooms through a cocktail of light, smoke, and noise. As promised, within seconds, the door is open by the great man himself...
