Adam Proto is an accomplished Event Professional with decades of experience in the field of strategic event creation and development across a broad spectrum of B2B and B2C audiences; with exceptional expertise in creative producing, experiential engagement, live event production, bespoke property creation, training and team development.

Adam's career began at a small independent full-service agency, where he was instrumental in growing the team from five full-time staff to over thirty. This growth attracted the attention of McCann Erikson, who eventually acquired the agency, forming Momentum. Adam's journey in the agency world continued with tenures at Momentum, Jack Morton, M-Is, TBA, HQ Creative and several other global agencies, each experience contributing to a robust portfolio filled with blue-chip brands and compelling narratives. He can demonstrate skills in business and finance, adept at creating, forecasting, and managing substantial production budgets of several million.


He has worked in the across almost every genre of events, supporting brands including but not limited to as Ferrari, Warner Bros. Samsung, Unilever, Nespresso, Google, FIA, WRC, Abu Dhabi CPC, Dubai CPC, HP, Rolex, Lexus, Ford, Mazda and Vodafone.  

 

Most recently, Adam has been serving as the Global Events and Marketing Lead at HP on a four-year contract. This role provided him with invaluable client-side experience, managing multimillion-dollar trade show budgets and gaining profound insights into the US production landscape and B2B client environments. His responsibilities included end to end responsibility for the global trade show delivery, supplier management with a keen focus on rates and value, as well as leading an award-winning Sustainability Impact Report on live shows.

 

Previously, Adam spent four years in Dubai as the Head of Production for HQ Creative, where he produced ground-breaking shows with diverse, multicultural teams. His expertise spans across the EMEA region and the US, enriching his global perspective on event management.

 

Adam has also shared his knowledge through academia, having written and taught a Postgraduate Degree in Event Management at UCL and Birkbeck University. Passionate about developing the next generation, Adam consistently works closely with teams to help them achieve their goals, a dedication that is deeply ingrained in his professional ethos.

 

His extensive experience includes ship launches, theme park openings, state visits, roadshows, sampling, experiential events, conferences, and award ceremonies, product launches, global trade shows, festivals, and motorsport sponsorship and leverage. Proficient in design and construction at every level, Adam thrives on the collaboration of a good team, instilling confidence in his clients through his seasoned expertise.

 

Adam excels in pitching and client service at the highest levels, with a comprehensive understanding of C-suite leadership needs. His proven track record in managing large-scale global projects with complex layers of technology and stakeholders underscores his capability and reliability.
