I am writing to offer my strongest recommendation for Adam Proto.

I had the absolute privilege of working with Adam in Jeddah during the Red Sea Film Festival (September–December 2025), where we were both engaged by SMPro, a Dubai-based events company. Following a recommendation from the show’s designer, I was appointed as Fabrication Manager on what was an incredibly ambitious and demanding project.

As a Film Art Director and Production Designer with over 40 years of experience, stepping into the role of Fabrication Manager was a new challenge for me. Adam became an essential figure in that journey, supporting me both professionally and—very quickly—on a personal level. With Adam, it is often difficult to separate the two.

He is, quite simply, one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and positive individuals I have ever worked with—and he brings a genuine sense of humour to even the most pressured environments. His leadership of a large and diverse team was nothing short of inspirational. Adam has a rare ability to galvanise people, bringing out the very best in every individual and guiding entire departments through the most demanding conditions with clarity, calm, and purpose.

What stands out most in my memory is his deep sense of inclusivity. Adam treats everyone with equal respect and dignity—from cleaners and caterers to clients and senior executives. On his very first day in Jeddah, he somehow managed to learn the names of what felt like half the crew—a small detail, perhaps, but one that speaks volumes about his character and leadership style.

I cannot recommend him highly enough.
